Rossland Trail Preview: Whiskey
Enter the realm of trail legends, where a mere long weekend becomes a 200 km odyssey through the singletrack kingdom of Rossland, BC! Need a trail suggestion to start your quest off right? Check out Whiskey On The Rocks, a double black diamond trail: www.trailforks.com/trails/whiskey-on-the-rocks and Whiskey, a single black diamond: www.trailforks.com/trails/whiskey/ Trail Description of Whiskey on the Rocks from Trail Forks: Whiskey on the rocks is a double black diamond trail. This trail is a short, energetic climb at the beginning of the trail and leads to an obvious high point and "armoring-up" up spot. The trail proceeds to fall away into a series of testing rock slabs and bluffs that require good bike handling skills and a touch of courage. Line choice and flow is essential to linking all features. Trail description of Whiskey (lower section): Whiskey is a Rossland classic and is a very popular trail within the network and certainly the most popular in the Malde Creek area. The upper section of the trail is technically challenging with rock slabs, stump stunts and optional jumps. Choose your own adventure as there are multiple lines available each with varying levels of difficulty and exposure. The lower section hosts mostly fast, sinuous single-track, peppered with stunts and jumps and the occasional bridge and which empties onto the Railgrade for a quick ride back to town or parked vehicle. 🎥 Dane Tudor - Shred House Media
